The Friday／"Seeing things through the eye of a pair of scissors" → wanting things that belong to others.＊From a saying in the Netherland

In the 16th century, the Dutch painter Pieter Bruegel represented more than 100 Netherlandish proverbs in his paintings.
"A strange and funny day and week". In this work, based on Bruegel's paintings, a total of seven proverbs are represented in short stories for each day of the week, from Monday to Sunday, based on the proverbs depicted in the paintings.
Friday's proverb is, "Through the eye between the scissors he sees things."
Its meaning is I covet what belongs to others.
16世紀、100以上ものネーデルランドのことわざを、絵画によって表したオランダの画家、ピーテル・ブリューゲル。ブリューゲルの絵画は、世界は罪深く、邪悪で、愚かしいものであるという当時の彼の世界観を反映しており、こうした主題は当時の文学にも反映されたといわれています。
奇妙でおかしな一日そして一週間。この作品では、絵画に描かれたことわざを、月曜日から日曜日まで一週間分、合計七つの小編を、それぞれの曜日の物語としています。
金曜日のことわざは、「ハサミの間の目を通して物を見る」
その意味は、人の物を欲しがる。
