In the 16th century, the Dutch painter Pieter Bruegel represented more than 100 Netherlandish proverbs in his paintings.
"A strange and funny day and week". In this work, based on Bruegel's paintings, a total of seven proverbs are represented in short stories for each day of the week, from Monday to Sunday, based on the proverbs depicted in the paintings.
Monday is "The wind blows the bird's feathers."
meaning, unplanned and fruitless work.
16世紀、100以上ものネーデルランドのことわざを、絵画によって表したオランダの画家、ピーテル・ブリューゲル。
"奇妙でおかしな一日そして一週間"。この作品では、ブリューゲルの絵画をモチーフにして、絵画に描かれたことわざをもとに、月曜日から日曜日までの一週間、合計七つのことわざを、短編小説として表現しています。
月曜日は、「風で鳥の羽を飛ばす」
意味は、無計画で成果のない仕事。
